Lisa Kleypas is the best' Sarah MacLean Everything has a price. The story is well written as usual and a sweet romance of two opposites who find out that they belong together.Book Description Paperback. It was great to see peeks of the other characters from the previous books. I couldn’t even understand why they didn’t think Tom was suitable when they caught them together so many times. Devon is so adamant about keeping his friend away from her. Outside of their relationship, Tom has to convince West and Devon that he really wants Cassandra. When the real negotiations started, I found myself too tickled by them. The contract scene is the perfect example. While this book is not as sexy as the other, it is so sensual. I actually found them to be amazing together. They have some of the best banter in the entire series. He states he only has five emotions and love is not one of them. Tom has to really convince Cassandra that he wants her but she thinks that he is not capable of the emotions required to be a husband. Tom and Cassandra’s relationship is more of a slow burn compared to the other couples in this series.

I kept wondering if he was on the spectrum. He is eccentric and odd to say the least.

He hasn’t really taken to the social norms.

He goes to social events to maintain relationships with some of the wealthy but they haven’t taken to him as he is more self made. He is almost like a black sheep of society. Tom Severin is wealthy, handsome and intelligent. No one is piquing her interest until she meets Tom Severin. She was the twin that always wanted to be married so why hasn’t it happened to her yet. Ĭassandra Ravel is feeling anxious now that her twin sister, Pandora, has gotten married. But the chase for her heart has only just begun. The chase for Cassandra’s hand may be over. Severin is the most compelling and attractive man Cassandra has ever met, even if his heart is frozen.
